Create a mailbox and manage its details

Requirements#

You need the owner account, available mailbox and storage capacity, and a domain ready to receive mail. The free plan allows one mailbox. A custom domain requires a paid plan and receiving verification before a mailbox can be created on it.

Create the mailbox#

1. Open Control Panel and access mailbox management from Overview or View all.
2. Choose Create mailbox, then select the domain, address name and a unique password.
3. Review the request and wait for provisioning. Do not submit the same address again while it is preparing.
4. Open mailbox details to inspect its state and aliases, then use the action that opens its mail.

What is in mailbox details?#

• The primary address, mailbox state and allocated storage.
• Aliases linked to it; these are not separate mailboxes.
• Actions allowed by your ownership and permissions; teammates do not automatically receive all owner actions.
